Orion Media's Film and Television Studios are the Southern Hemisphere's largest and newest Chroma Soundstages and multimedia facility located in Melbourne, Australia. Available for hire or production, Orion's studio is equipped with a recently furbished makeup room, change rooms, boardroom facilities and wifi access along with our newly added second smaller studio designed for one person to camera shoots.

The Facility
The studio's larger soundstage features a 10m x 10m Ultimatte green screen cyclorama with matching floor illuminated by a 45,000 watt lighting grid controlable by computer through its purpose built control room. The silent fully air-conditioned sound stage has attenuation to 50dB(c) minimum with multiple 3 phase power outlets to satisfy the largest of power draws.

The full chroma green floor soundstage gives smooth glide access to camera pedestals, camera cranes and dollies. The 6 metre high stage has double door vehicle entry access to its 10m x 10m 90 degree cyclorama green screen.

Kristian Curcio

A visionary in streamline content production, Kristian is the head of Orion Media. Though his background is in marketing, Kristian always had a passion for film and video - that passion, along with his creativity and dedication, have made him an increadible asset to Orion Media.

If you've seen the Green Layers and Crowd Control library, then you've already seen Kristian's outstanding work.

In addition to being a production dynamo, Kristian is extremely friendly and approachable, always willing to give his time to others.
